Gold: For the week, gold ended up marginally higher ending at $1667.

Silver: For the week, silver climbed as well with most of the gains coming on Friday. Silver prices ended for the week at $32.20 per troy ounce.

Platinum: Platinum prices climbed as well ending at $1517.

Palladium: Palladium ended the week sharply higher as well. Climbing roughly $40 this week and closing at $677.

Rhodium: Rhodium prices remained flat for the week and are well down from last year's levels. Rhodium is trading at $1300 per ounce well down from the $2400 range it was at this time last year.


Relatively uninspiring economic news along with the weak US Dollar continue to be the driving forces. Inflation continues to be a worrisome issue.
